At DigitalPharmacy.io, we connect Pharmacies and their consumers, by offering a platform (Pharmacy/Consumer Website and Apps) with services such as order medicines, upload prescriptions, talk to pharmacists, and more. Our platform provides care coordination tools to enhance pharmacy management for Pharmacies, Health & Supplement Stores, Ayurveda & Traditional Medicine Store, and Eye Glasses & Lens Store.

  3. Employees: Individuals employed by the pharmacies.

Collectively, Pharmacy Users, Employees, and Pharmacists/StoreManagers/Pharmacy owners/Store Owners are referred to as “Users” or “You/Your”. DigitalPharmacy.io is dedicated to safeguarding the information and data shared by Users during their engagement, employment, and use of the Platforms and Services.

These are, for example, names or address data, telephone number, mobile number, bank details or insurance number.

A subgroup of personal data are the special categories of personal data according to Art. 9 of the GDPR. These include e.g. Information about health, sex life and sexual orientation. Health data that can be generated by an online pharmacy such as DigitalPharmacy.io also belongs to the special category of personal data.

What data does digital pharmacy process?

At DigitalPharmacy.io, we offer a range of health-related IT services (Pharmacy or Consumer Website, Pharmacy or Consumer App, Pharmacist portal/app, and Admin portal) that you can access by contacting us online, by phone, or by mail. Whenever you use our services or get in touch with us, we collect different types of data:

From all Users:
  • (i) Demographic information like name, gender, age, etc;
  • (ii) Contact information such as email id, mobile number etc;
  • (iii) Data regarding your usage of the Platform and Services and history of the orders or visits made through the use of Platform and Services; and
  • (iv) Other details as the Users may provide to DigitalPharmacy.io.
From Pharmacists/Store Managers:
  • (i) Information about Pharmacists/Store Managers qualifications for use of our Platform;
  • (ii) Information about Pharmacy timings
  • (iii) Pharmacy Name, location, contact details.
  • (iv) Non-personal information such as the device type, model details, browser, platform, IP address of your computer, Date and time of access, Name and URL of the retrieved file, Amount of bytes transferred, Page View Status, Session ID etc. which are automatically collected during the engagement and are not explicitly provided by you.

We process personal data in various areas to deliver efficient, personalized, and secure pharmacy services, benefiting both Pharmacy customers and Pharmacy owners. At DigitalPharmacy.io, we want to be transparent about how we use your personal data and who else may have access to it.

User Registration

When Users (Pharmacists/Store Managers, Employees) sign up or register for our pharmacy platform and Pharmacy Users(Pharmacy Customers) sign up on your Pharmacy website/app. All Users provide personal information such as name, email address, contact number, and date of birth. Communication and Notifications

Personal data, such as email addresses and phone numbers, may be used to send order confirmation messages and other important notifications to all Users. User Support
